Hi all fans!

Just a very short update this time.

I'm really glad there has been a little interest in reviving the club. Not bad for a start.

There were a few people who told me that they would like to join the contest but couldn't finish their piece in time. Which is understandable; the timing was horrible of me (exam period and all...) so I decided to extend the deadline until July 13th.
I'm waiting for your beautiful submissions!

CONTEST


No better start for a club revival than a contest, right? This first contest is something rather boring, but still most useful: the club needs an ID. Go ahead, creative KoRn lovers, create a masterpiece that expresses our boundless adoration that brings us the children of the KoRn together. Use your favourite media, or mix a few. Nothing is prohibited as long as it meets the rules of DA.

My decision is that if you would like to have the band members in your piece, it doesn't matter whether Head and David is included or excluded- I'll leave that to you to decide.

Deadline is July 13th. Until that, you'll have plenty of time to create the beautiful artwork. When you are done, upload it to your gallery and send the club a note with a link to it; the subject should have contest entry in it so I can easily identify it.


When the deadline is over, I'll list the entries in a journal, and every member is allowed to vote, leaving a comment. The person getting the most votes wins, that simple

What I can offer as a prize is pretty obvious- ~KornFans will have your masterpiece on its frontpage for a very long time (at least as long as personal demand doesn't call for a new ID contest, which I don't expect to happen too soon.) Quite simple, but very much rewarding- all the KoRny glory will be yours!

I guess the current icon is okay, but I might announce another contest for a new icon too upon request, if you have some new ideas. It's really up to you.
